Scholarships

The J. Kevin Crocker Scholarship Fund for Education in Co-operative Enterprise

This Fund was established to honor J. Kevin Crocker, a senior lecturer in the UMass Department of Economics, for his service, dedication and contribution to co-op education. Established by the Neighboring Food Co-op Association (NFCA) and the Valley Alliance of Worker Co-ops (VAWC) in collaboration with the UMass Department of Economics and the New England Farmers Union (NEFU), the Fund will support internships with the NFCA, VAWC, and their member co-operatives as part of completion of the Certificate through the Department of Economics.

New England Farmers Union Scholarship

Each year, New England Farmers Union Education Foundation provides a $500 scholarship to a member or child of a member to study agriculture at the college level. Winner will be announced July 31, 2018.

Stanley Moore National Scholarships

Each year, several $1,000 scholarships are awarded to Farmers Union members enrolled in a two- or four-year college or university. Winner will be announced July 31, 2018.

Hubert K. and JoAnn Seymour Scholarship

Each year, one or two scholarships will be awarded ranging from $1,000 to $2,000 total. Winner will be announced August 15, 2018.
